lyrics
I leaned in for the handshake, now I’m confused
Is this a new kind of animal, or just polydactyl?
I won’t lose my shit, I’ll keep my temper down
So you’re wrong, you’re wrong, you’re wrong, you’re wrong
I’m ready for the job we do
So dark in here, behind closed doors,
But I’m not scared, no I want more
I’ve been waiting, restless, screaming out for some attention
Stick your fingers in grab hold the first thing that you find then you pull
This was all about tonight, I did everything to make it right
All you had to do, was keep your mouth shut for an hour or two
And you fucking ruined it
So now you put me on the back foot, oh what to do?
Kitty cat got a mean streak, damn polydactyl
If I Lose my my shit, I’ll never get it back
But you’re wrong, you’re wrong, you’re wrong, you’re wrong
I’m ready for the job we do
For the job we do
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
